2023 Club Events

Preferred Player 3 person Shamble - Sunday July 9th 11:00 T-times
Format: Players will be placed on a 3 person team. All players tee off, select the best tee shot and then all 3 players play their own ball from that spot. The best net score on each hole will count as the team score. Players will receive 70% of their handicap.
Cost $45 walking or $55 riding- includes 18 holes, prizes, and sausage / drink after the round

Preferred Player Club Championship July 29th,-30th 12:00 T-times both days
Format: Players will play 36 holes of stroke play. Championship flight will play black tees (under 10 index) and remaining players will play blue tees (over 10 index). Players 65 and over may play white tees. Ladies will play yellow tees.
Cost:$60 walking or $80 riding- includes both rounds of golf, prizes and sausage / drink after the second round

Preferred Player Guelph Lakes Cup Sunday September 18th 11:00 T-times
Format:This Ryder Cup style event will have 2 teams of 12 players playing 2 person better ball matches on the front 9 and individual match play on the second 9. Play will be from the blue tees for men, white tees for over 65 and yellow tees for ladies. All players will receive 70% of their handicap
Cost:: $60 walking or $80 riding- includes 18 holes, prizes and sausage / drink after the round plus a team USA or Euro souvenir

Greenskeepers Revenge August 26th 9:00 Shotgun
Format: 4 person Scramble played to 18 of the most difficult pin placements on the course. Players may play from the tee deck of their choice. All prizes are by lucky draw.
Cost:$90- includes golf with cart, a voucher for a 2024 walking weekday green fee, peameal bacon on a bun before golf, lunch and prizes after golf. All participants will be entered in a draw for a 12 game twilight package (value $492)..

Preferred Player Tombstone Sunday October 22nd 10:00 T-times
FormatPlayers receive 70% of their handicap and add that on to the par 71. Players place their tombstone where they hit the shot that reached that total. The player that makes it the furthest on the course is the winner. Play is from the blue tees.
Cost: $40 walking or $50 riding- includes 18 holes, prizes and a beverage after the round
